Pavilion Theatre of Glasgow opened on 29th
February 1904 as a Music Hall. Located north of Glasgow city centre, the Pavilion Theatre started producing Pantomimes in 1920 and still manages to do so. Many of the leading music hall artists of the early 20th century performed at the Pavilion, including Marie Lloyd, Little Tich, Harry Lauder, Sarah Bernhardt, and a then-unknown Charlie Chaplin.
