Cash Games Terms and Conditions:

This promotion will run from 1 May until 4 November 2023 and is only open to Met Card holders.

The promotion will be funded using the Cash Game Promotional Rake.

The Cash Game Promotional Rake is as follows: £1 will be deducted from each eligible pot in Poker Cash Games, including all No Limit Hold’em and Omaha games.

Eligible pots defined as: Hand must see a flop, pot must be a minimum of £20, a minimum of four players must take part or receive cards in the hand and the hand must be dealt by a card room member of staff.

Met Card holders will accumulate leader board points for the duration of their time played at any Cash Game table. This will be capped at eight hours per day, and they will earn one point per minute of play.

The leader board will run from the first of the month from 6am until the first of the following month at 5.59am. After which the leader board will be reset.

The Top 10 players on each leader board, per promotional period, will be eligible to play in the next Vegas final.

The Vegas Finals will be held on the following dates: 12 August and 4 November 2023.

Each player that qualified for the Vegas Final must play on the pre-advertised dates.

Vegas Final seats are non-transferable, and no cash alternative is available.

Players can only qualify once for the Cash Game Vegas Final.

Should a qualifying player feature on the leader board, the seat will be awarded to the next highest qualified player.

In the event of a tie on the leader board, all qualifying players will be invited to the Vegas Final.

The prize for the winner of each Cash Game Vegas Final is: $10,000 Buy-in for the WSOP Main Event in 2024; Return flights to Las Vegas, travel insurance and hotel transfers; accommodation in Las Vegas; three complimentary group dinners; return transport and accommodation between Glasgow and London.

Players must be aged over 21 to participate in the WSOP.

Players who have won the package must travel on the flights arranged by the promoter. Details of travellers must be provided within 14 days of being awarded the package.

Traveling players must arrange their own ESTA/VISA application to travel.

£5,000 cash alternative available per package.

All packages are maintained as a complete package including all items listed in point 16 of these terms. The package is transferable to another Met Card holder that has qualified for any of the Vegas Finals throughout the promotion period.

Participants agree to allow Metropolitan Gaming the unconditional use of their name and likeness (including photographs) for promotions/advertising and announcements without compensation, consideration, notice, review, pre-approval, or additional consent, relating to the Race to Vegas promotion.

Participants competing in the WSOP agree to wear ‘Team Alea Glasgow’ branded clothing for the duration they are competing in the tournament during the Vegas trip.


Entry constitutes acceptance by the entrant of these terms and conditions.

Any complaints or disputes should be brought to the immediate attention of Venue Management for resolution.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion at any time. If participants have already met the qualifying criteria for the promotion, they will be entitled to participate in the promotion on the terms entered, (subject to any expiry or other conditions contained in these terms) and entitled to any benefits associated with the promotion.

Employees of the Promoter, their agents, families, or household members are prohibited from participating in this promotion.

Disregard or failure to meet any of these terms may result in the management cancelling prizes.

Tournament Terms and Conditions:

The promotion will be funded through the additional £2 per tournament entry fee on all Poker Tournaments.

Met Card holders will accumulate leader board points for each tournament entry. This will be capped at one point per tournament per day.

Additional points can be earned by finishing in the Top 9 places in each tournament, distributed as follows: 1st Place – 9 points, 2nd
Place – 8 points, 3rd Place – 7 points, 4th Place – 6 points, 5th Place – 5 points, 6th Place – 4 points, 7th Place – 3 points, 8th Place – 2 points and 9th Place – 1 point.

The Sprint to Vegas tournaments will run on Saturday 26th August and Sunday 27 August 2023 and is only open to Met Card holders.

Each entrant must register at the Poker Desk prior to commencement of the tournament at 2pm, late registrations must be registered before 5.30pm.

All entrants must pay the entrance fee of £130 (£120 buy-in and £10 registration) prior to the commencement of play.

Prior to the commencement of the tournament 25,000 starting stack of chips will be placed on the table for each paid entrant.

A starting stack of chips may be placed in a seat to accommodate late entrants (so all antes and blinds have been appropriately paid). An unsold seat will have such a stack removed at a time left to the discretion of the tournament director (usually at the end of the rebuy period).

Unlimited re-entries will be permitted for the specified late registration period of the tournament but will be relocated to another table if possible. A re-entry will need to join an existing alternate list and is not seated as a re-buy. They will be seated as close to the big blind as possible if being seated manually, or seated randomly if such a system is in place (i.e., seating cards or a digital seating system). Registration fees will apply.

All MG Poker Tournaments are governed by the Tournament Rules displayed in the Poker Room and are available on request.

One WSOP 2024 Package is guaranteed on the condition of a minimum of 117 entries per tournament.

All prize money will be paid out as a WSOP 2024 Package with any remaining funds paid out as the only cash prizes as per the pay-out structure available from the Poker Desk.

The WSOP 2024 Package includes: $10,000 Buy-in for the WSOP Main Event in 2024; Return flights to Las Vegas, travel insurance and hotel transfers; accommodation in Las Vegas; three complimentary group dinners; return transport and accommodation between Glasgow and London.
