There are two all-expenses-paid packages up for grabs every three months in Alea's Poker Room!

Earn points by entering our Poker tournaments, held five days a week. One point per tournament entry. Land in the top ten of our leader board each month and you'll compete in our final on 4 February.

Terms & Conditions

  1. This promotion will run from 7th November 2022 until 1st May 2023.
  2. The promotion is available to Met Card holders only.
  3. The promotion will be funded from the 1st December using the Cash Game Promotional Rake. Previously utlised for the Bad Beat Jackpot. Players have until this period to object or complain regarding this change.
  4. Additional funding for this promotion will be drawn from historical promotional funds which were collected from Poker Players in Alea Glasgow’s Cardroom. Players have a 30 day notice period ending 
  5. December 4th whereby they can object and/or bring forward complaints to venue management regarding the utlisation of these funds.
  6. The Cash Game Promotional Rake is as follows: £1 will be deducted from each eligible pot in Poker Cash Games, including all No Limit Hold’em and Omaha Games. Eligible pots defined as:
  7. Hand must see a flop.
  8. Pot must be a minimum of £20.
  9. A minimum of four players must take part or receive cards in the hand.
  10. The hand must be dealt by cardroom staff.
  11. Entry constitutes acceptance by the entrant of these terms and conditions.
  12. Met Card holders will accumulate leaderboard points for the duration of their time played at any Cash Game table. This will be capped at eight hours per day and they will earn one point per minute of play.
  13. The leaderboard will run from the 1st of each month from 6:00 until the 1st of the following month at 5:59. After which period the leaderboard will be reset.
  14. The top ten players on each leaderboard, each month, will be eligible to play on the next Vegas final. The Vegas finals will be held on the following dates: 1st February 2023 and 1st May 2023.
  15. Each player must play in the Vegas Final on the pre-advertised date, which they have qualified for. Their place is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
  16. Players can only qualify once for the Cash Game Vegas Final. If a player features on the qualifying leaderboard places after prior qualification, the place will be awarded to the next highest qualified player.
  17. In the event of a points tie. All players will be invited to the Vegas Final.
  18. The prize for the winner of each Cash Game Vegas Final will be: $10,000 Buy-in for the WSOP Main Event in 2023; Return flights to Las Vegas, travel insurance and hotel transfers; accommodation in Las Vegas; £500 spending money; return transport and accommodation between Glasgow and London.
  19. Players must be aged over 21 in order to participate in WSOP.
  20. Players who have won the package must travel on the flights arranged by the promoter. Details of travelers must be provided within 14 days of being awarded the package.
  21. Traveling players must arrange their own ESTA/VISA application in order to travel.
  22. No cash alternative is available.
  23. All packages are maintained as a complete package including all items listed in (12.). The package is transferable to another Met Card holder that has qualified for any Vegas Final throughout the promotion.
  24. Participants agree to allow Metropolitan Gaming the unconditional use of their name and likeness (including photographs) for promotions/advertising and announcements without compensation, consideration, notice, review, pre-approval, or additional consent, relating to the Race to Vegas Promotion.
  25. Participants competing in the WSOP agree to ‘Team Alea Glasgow’ branded clothing for the duration of the time competing in the tournament during the Vegas trip.
    Any complaints or disputes should be brought to the immediate attention of venue Management for resolution.
  26. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the tournament at any time.
  27. If participants have already met the qualifying criteria for the promotion, they will be entitled to participate in the promotion on the terms entered, (subject to any expiry or other conditions contained in these terms) and entitled to any benefits associated with the promotion.
  28. Employees of the Promoter, their agents, families, or household members are prohibited from participating in this tournament.
    Disregard or failure to meet any of any of these terms may result in the management cancelling prizes.
