As temperatures slowly begin to sneak up and we find ourselves subconsciously drawn to the factor 50, our minds begin to wonder, “is that a ‘summer’ we see?” Well, in spite of the weather curve ball that June threw at us, yes, yes it is looking like we might just be graced with some Glasgow sunshine over the coming months – hallelujah!
Naturally, this begs the question “where will we spend our days lazing in the sunshine with a refreshing tipple in tow?” Fret not, for Alea holds the answer… introducing our brand new and utterly gorgeous Champagne Summer Garden Pop Up (aka your new favourite spot for summer drinks!).
Garden Haven
Having exclusively launched at the beginning of July, the casino’s stunning mezzanine floor has been transformed into a paradise pop up! Boasting floor to ceiling views over the River Clyde and the city beyond, the sun streams in abundantly over this incredible indoor garden. Ascend the staircase draped in pretty florals and pink ribbons, before reaching the grass carpeted mezzanine where you’ll find adorable garden furniture, grassy cubed seating and stunning flower walls. Take a pew in the giant Insta-worthy birdcage, decked out with comfy cushions and floral garlands, or kick back and relax on the retro pink deckchairs whilst you soak up the sunny city views. Summer Sips
Garden goals complete, how about the perfect summer tipple to match? In association with the finest bubbles in town, our Champagne Summer Garden Pop Up offers Laurent-Perrier Champagne on chill for all of its lucky garden goers. Keeping the pink vibes strong, this iconic brand’s signature Rosé will be served up alongside our scrumptious range of gourmet nibbles. Think chocolate dipped strawberries, Joe & Seph’s handmade popcorn, and a chilled glass of luxury Champagne in hand – magnifique!
If you’re feeling a touch fruitier than fizz dictates, you’ll love our trio of summer garden-inspired cocktails - served on a three-piece plank, each Champagne cocktail offers something fresh, light, fruity and fragrant.
Private Garden Party
As if it wasn’t possible to fall any more in love with this gorgeous garden pop up, we’ve gone and made it available to exclusively hire seven days a week for the perfect summer party! Whether you’re celebrating a big birthday, throwing an epic baby shower, letting loose on a hen do, or just looking for the ideal spot to get your pals together, our Champagne Summer Garden offers you gorgeous surrounds with all the privacy you could ask for. You’ll have your own exclusive entrance to the garden as well as a dedicated member of staff on hand to look after you for the night, plus with plenty of comfy seating and tables, you’ll never have a need to leave your pretty private space for the evening.
Holding up to 30 guests, you can take your pick of a midweek or weekend do; make it a weekend affair and you’ll enjoy free entry with a minimum of 20 friends, plus your choice of Champagne Garden package starting from £25pp; or if you fancy visiting Sunday-Thursday, the pop up can be hired for just £100 with no minimum numbers and optional packages available.

Of course, no party would be complete without top tipples and plenty of nibbles, making our Champagne Garden packages the perfect accompaniment to your night!
Go for the Laurent-Perrier Rosé package and for just £25pp, each of your guests will enjoy chocolate dipped strawberries, a selection of gourmet Joe & Seph’s popcorn including caramel & Belgian chocolate, gin & tonic and salted caramel flavours, alongside a chilled glass of Laurent-Perrier Rosé to wash it all down with.
